Age Discrimination

In April 2006, Marc announced a lawsuit against the City of New York in response to recent anti-graffiti legislation that made it illegal for persons under the age of 21 to buy or possess spray paint or broad-tipped markers. To respond to illegal graffiti by depriving aspiring artists of supplies that could be critical to their work, Marc and his lawyers contended, was not only a serious overreaction but unjust as well.
